It's fair to say, retail premises are a huge financial burden on businesses and it's also fair to say high street retail has no regard for the customer anymore. As we are mobile & work from home, these pressures are not ours to bare, giving flexibilty & stability to our growth offering our clients peace of mind & of course Premier customer service comes natural.
So far, January has been a real eye opener for us. I don't think many businesses, especially micro businesses such as mine, really new what to expect from all the changes made within the commerce industry & retail as a whole at the top of 2011. As I launched Blissful Balloons in the middle of the 'crash of 2009' it's fair to say, slow & steady wins the race!! I have seen an increase in business over the last few years & never sat idol during those lonely 'quite days'. Batting away all the aggressive sales calls & promises of 'Search Engine Optimisation' (god help us) I stuck to the plan & January 2011 is looking to be exciting with bookings through out the year already confirmed. Word of mouth is indeed a powerful tool as a business owner & consumer, I understand personal recommendation is above all advertising mediums, the best! This is clearly demonstrated with the level of 'bookings' we now get instead of 'enquiries'.
