Well, whilst you were all tucked up in your beds on Sunday morning, I was up at 5.30am & off to Cannon Hill Park with helium balloons ready for the Start of Birmingham SKY RIDE. Headed by their ambassador Lorraine Kelly, there was an awesome 55,500 people took part in an 8.3km bike ride around Birmingham City. Roads were being closed around me as I negotiated the streets to deliver balloons. I was delighted to be a small but very colourful part of this event on such a beautiful morning. Even at 6.30am there were hundreds of cyclists in Cannon Hill park limbering up and getting to grips with proceedings. The whole event was family friendly and was park of the launch of Sky's new cycling channel. Sky staff cycled the route with blissful balloons tied to their bikes which looks totally fabulous! 
I have since received lovely feedback from the staff and look forward to working with them again in the future...& no, I didn't go back to bed when I got home, I was buzzing! Got the sausages sizzling, made a beautiful fresh breakfast fruit cocktail and sat in my garden in the morning sunshine..Bliss!
