As random as my job can be quiet often...after a phone call from a London magazine HQ one day last week, I found myself helping to organise a balloon delivery in Birmingham City centre for a New Year themed photo shoot. Everything worked out really well & I had a lovely call back from FHM to thank me for the balloons and service. December issue will feature Blissful Balloons. Totally exciting to see my work in a premier national magazine!!!

A beautiful repreave from what seemed to be Autumn is upon us & as businesses prepare to thrust you into the cut throat massacre of Christmas gift buying and turkey ordering, let's face it, the best bit is the parties!! Corporate or special family get togethers, they are the real seasonal gift. The only time we feel like really letting off steam and probably the only time we force ourselves to get out there and enjoy ourselves. This is a favourite of mine too because I get to make the room ready for you and turn it into a winter wonderland, 70's boogy or mixed up with all kinds of bespoke designs to create the atmosphere! My advice is always free so ask away if you really want to get everyone talking about the party you organised this year. Dates are going very fast for week-end bookings so if all you do is pay your booking deposit to secure our services, then do it today..we can talk about table numbers ect later. Ask about ordering a one-off long lasting display for you to raffle off to your guests and raise money for a favourite charity during the evening!

Well, it's here..September is starting tomorrow and it's 'Say it with Balloons' month. We have been chatting with a few lovely USA based balloon companies and love how the american's just adore balloons! 'The Brits tend to be a few years behind' one New York based balloon decor shop told me..well, I think that may be so but with people like me around I will do my best to promote the industry and all it's beauty to anyone who will listen or log on!!
So, what can you do to show someone how beautiful balloons can be ?? remembering, unless you really want traditional..anything we do will always have a little extra special finish and always be personal to the lucky recipient with your guidance. Male or female, family or friend or just someone that has been particularly kind and caring to you this year, it only takes a phone call to arrange a surprise delivery to their home or place of work & you can even stay anonymous if you so wish. We can add anything to your balloons such as wine, champagne, chocolates or a cuddly keepsake all within your budget. Need latex free ?? we got it ! We recently sent a really emotional Nurse a stunning 'Thank you' from one of her patients and it was welcome within the hospital environment due to the latex free balloon being easy to wipe/clean. Balloons are truly wonderful when created with passion and flare by a professional. We will always take the time to create an amazing display so your intentions are loud and clear.

Well, whilst you were all tucked up in your beds on Sunday morning, I was up at 5.30am & off to Cannon Hill Park with helium balloons ready for the Start of Birmingham SKY RIDE. Headed by their ambassador Lorraine Kelly, there was an awesome 55,500 people took part in an 8.3km bike ride around Birmingham City. Roads were being closed around me as I negotiated the streets to deliver balloons. I was delighted to be a small but very colourful part of this event on such a beautiful morning. Even at 6.30am there were hundreds of cyclists in Cannon Hill park limbering up and getting to grips with proceedings. The whole event was family friendly and was park of the launch of Sky's new cycling channel. Sky staff cycled the route with blissful balloons tied to their bikes which looks totally fabulous! 
I have since received lovely feedback from the staff and look forward to working with them again in the future...& no, I didn't go back to bed when I got home, I was buzzing! Got the sausages sizzling, made a beautiful fresh breakfast fruit cocktail and sat in my garden in the morning sunshine..Bliss!

Last week-end was very busy and by the time Sunday evening came (which was in the blink of an eye), I was flaked, barely gripping onto a well earned glass of Rose! Although tiring, week-ends like this are truly magnificent and bring a rush of creativity, enthusiasm and levels of perfection 'off the scale'!! Hope you enjoy viewing our photo's in the gallery. Still on a high from the Royal Wedding?? I AM!! After arriving at our friends to a Bucks Fizz & all attending dressed to impress (even though some of the men were in Bridal gowns!!!) I place the red, white & Blue balloons clusters & princess carriage foil around the room and the scene was set! Beautiful sunshine broke threw the clouds and we were all delighted with the chance to get together. The very next day I had the delight of creating the scene at a local hotel for Wedding and it looks absolutely amazing !! The very next day we had lovely feedback from the newlyweds - 
" thank u soooo much for saturday the room looked amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! again a huge thank u, it was more than i expected!!!!!!!!" 
This is exactly why I love what I do !! The decor plan was so successful due to the variation of designs concentrating on important elements of the room such as dance floor arch, entrance/welcome arch, hot air balloon card box (keep those cards all together!), Table top balloons, Balloon bomb over the dance floor & cloud 9 linked trio across main wall. They also had a balloon release which is a beautiful experience and a feeling of relevance whatever the occasion.
I wish them both an amazing future together and was honoured to have created a memorable day.
