Q. We would like professional chair covers with Organza sash, do we have to go somewhere else for these?
A. No. We can offer beautiful chair covers to complete your venue dressing. Simpy let us know how many chairs require dressing, colour scheme & we will add this to your booking.
Q. We could like to have party extra's such as table bubbles & confetti, favor's is this possible?
A. Yes, we supply a superb range of partyware & can discuss this with you at the time of booking. We also supply cake boxes aswel as card boxes. Not forgetting that we can completely kit out hen & stag nights with a great range of printed T-shirts, fun goodies aswel!
Q. Do we have to pay a deposit to secure our booking?
A. Yes, to confirm your date with us you will be asked to pay a non-refundable £25.00 deposit to secure your booking and the remainder is due just four weeks before your party (if your party is less than four weeks away from time of Booking, full payment is required immediatly). Failure to do so without contact will result in cancellation of your booking.
Q. We have been told we can get balloon decor really cheap but are we taking a risk?
A. Be aware that in every industry there will be a 'cheap alternative', however, if it's cheap then you will get exactly what you pay for. There are alot of 'traders' providing basic balloon decor. Chances are, they are not qualified and do not use professional products and equipment as we do, therefore there is no value to their service and the finished results will be disappointing. We are fully qualified and only use the best 'Conwin' equipment and the world's best 'Qualatex' balloons throughout our decor. Balloons our full time business not a side line or hobby. We care and make sure that we are at the top of the market in our industry. Most events are a one off so do not take the risk, book professionals with peace of mind.
Q. We would love balloons at our event, but venue restrictions mean we can't have helium balloons in the building, are we going to be left disappointed?
A. NO WAY! don't worry, this is more common than you might realise & we come across it often. We are confident your special occasion will have beautiful balloon decor just as you wished for. When we meet we can explain how it's all done and show examples which will really surprise you and within your original budget!
Q. What if the weather stops our event going ahead or the venue cancels our booking, do we get our money back?

Q. We would like to organise a fete for our school/church. Can you provide some outdoor decor?
A. Yes no problem, we have a great portfolio of designs, colourful & eyecatching. Just call to arrange a consultation to discuss your idea's & budget & don't worry if the rain moves your plans indoor because we will just follow. We also supply balloon drop's, races & releases with a DIY option or we can do it all for you. (book well in advance highly recommended to benefit from good sales results)
Q. Our family have a party coming up soon & we would like a small amount of balloons to keep the cost down, do you have a minimum order?
A. How exciting! Just call with the details & we will go out of our way to make sure your party has a beautiful range of decor to suit your theme. Minimum order value for a party/wedding is usually £50 locally plus delivery. Call 07968 528953 for more details.
Q. Can we collect our balloons and party accessories?
A. Yes, of course, when you book and pay for your order we can arrange collection in one call! You can collect one balloon or hundreds. We will advise you of suitable transport according to your order. Option to pay delivery charge is available upon request and subject to time and distance restrictions.
Q. Can we buy cheap balloons from the shops for you to use?
A. No Sorry, most balloons available to the public are of unsuitable quality, they will not inflate to the required size therefore will not float for very long. We provide professional materials guaranteeing quality.
Q. We are thinking of having flowers on the table and balloons around the room, do we have to ring someone else?
A. No. We also offer a beautiful range of table centrepieces, including stunning mirror's, flower bowls, gift baskets aswel as Stunning chair covers with sash. We usually find our what you would like and then design it just for you! Balloons can then highlight doorways, dance floors, stage's ect.
QUESTIONS FOR BALLOON/GIFT DELIVERY
Q. I would love to surprise someone special, what do I do?
A. We love delivering surprises. Just ring and tell us the occasion & your message to put on the gift card. Make sure they will be there though.
Q. Can I add any extra's to be delivered with the Balloons or basket gift?
A. Yes. Chocolates are a favourite or if we are making a unique basket gift we can fill it will goodies to the value of your budget just tell us the occasion.
Q. Do you only deliver foil balloons because latex balloons only last for a short while?
A. No, we deliver latex also. they are all injected with a treatment called 'Hi-Float' (see below) your latex balloons will stay up as long as the foil balloons if not longer (subject to suitable room conditions)
Q. I have ordered and paid for my dleivery but I have decided to upgrade the bouquet so it's extra special, can I do this ?
A. Certainly, as long as there is enough time & we have not processed your order, just ring us & we can take extra payment.
Q. I would like a delivery on Saurday or Sunday is this possible?
A. These are our busiest days, so book in advance. Time restrictions apply.
Q. How are the Balloons delivered ?
A. Your chosen theme is carefully arranged and anchored onto a matching balloon weight. Carefully bagged during transit and delivered floating fresh and ready to surprise!
Q. Is it possible to deliver the balloons as a boxed gift?
A. Yes, we use plain boxes, so that there are no clues until they open the lid & up floats their surprise bouquet. This is also perfect for wedding day photo's, open the lid to release a small and personal balloon release.
Q. Can I sent my balloons/gift anonymously ?
A. Yes, even if the recipient telephones us your details are private & confidential.
Q. I am local to Great Barr, Birmingham, is there any chance I could collect my balloons/gift from you?
A. Yes arrange collection & payment in one call. Our collection service is very flexible. Collected Single foil Balloons are from just £3.00 each including weight.
Q. I would really love to send a 'themed' bouquet to someone can you help me?
A. Of course! It is impossible to list every balloon on the market but there is generally a balloon for almost everything you can think of..from Asian themed balloons to Hannah Montanna. We are in the business of surprising & making occasions as special as possible & we do it with pride.
Float Times and Precautions
FLOAT TIMES FOR MYLAR (FOIL) BALLOONS
In optimum environments, mylar (foil) balloons will remain full and taught for 3-5 days. They will continue to float for two weeks or longer. Air-conditioned air may cause these balloons to shrivel, but they will return to a normal state when exposed to warmer air. Foil Balloons can appear deflated very quickly in cold conditions but will fill back out once back in the warmth.
FLOAT TIMES FOR LATEX BALLOONS WITHOUT HI-FLOAT® TREATMENT
16-inch latex balloons will float indoors for 30-40 hours.
11-inch latex balloons will float indoors for 12-20 hours.
Float times may be reduced significantly if balloons are used outdoors or at elevations higher than sea level.
HI-FLOAT™ TREATMENT (EXTRA CHARGE)
Latex balloons, used indoors and out of direct sunlight, will usually float for at least 3 days if treated with Hi-Float®, a non-toxic sealant which coats the inner wall of the balloon. Float time may be reduced significantly in unusually warm, unusually cool, or very humid environments, and at elevations significantly above sea level.
EFFECTS OF ELEVATION, SUNLIGHT, AIR CONDITIONING, AND WIND
Float times will be reduced at higher elevations.
On hot days, in direct sunlight, balloons may pop within an hour. The same result can occur indoors if balloons are exposed to direct sunlight through windows.
Very cool environments may cause helium molecules to shrink, reducing the size and float time of balloons. In extreme minus temperature, latex balloons could 'pop' we can not gaurantee float time under these conditions.
Indoors or outdoors, the constant flow of air around a balloon will increase the speed at which helium molecules escape through the wall of the balloon, resulting in reduced float time.
2. Ceiling Precautions
Static and invisible fibers on ceilings can cause balloons to pop. Allow your balloons to remain tied to an anchor for at least five hours before releasing them to the ceiling. This allows the balloons to shrink enough so that the skin becomes thicker and tougher. After five hours, take 2-3 balloons and rake them across the ceiling. If these do not pop, it should be safe to release additional balloons. If they do pop, allow additional time and run the test again.
3. Health Precautions
A. Do not breathe helium from a balloon. Helium is not toxic nor flammable, but breathing it can result in asphyxiation (loss of consciousness due to insufficient oxygen).
B. Do not release mylar (foil) balloons outdoors. Power failures can result if these balloons become entangled in electric lines. These balloons conduct electricity. Never try to remove a balloons attached to power lines.
C. Popped latex balloons present a choking hazard for small children. Do not leave small children unaccompanied with latex balloons.
