PROFESSIONAL BALLOON DECOR

Q. Is there a restriction to where you will travel to Decorate ?

A. Unfortunatly, Yes, To keep costs down, we keep our service within the Central Midlands area.

Q. Do your business hours apply to decorating hours?

A. No, we are available to decorate your special occasion/event 7 days a week to suit you.

Q. We haven't yet decided on our colour schemes, can we still book you?

A. Yes, Of course. It is very important that you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as we do receive bookings over 12 months in advance. We can establish the decor you would like at a later date once you are sure about colour schemes and theme. As long as your venue is secure that's the most important thing.

Q. We could like the tables decorated with party extra's such as cascades, table confetti, party hats, streamers.. is this possible?

A. Yes, we stock a great range of partyware, too much to list, we can discuss this with you during the time of booking. We also supply invitation stationary, cake boxes, favors, confetti & table bubbles! oh not forgetting that we can completely kit out hen & stag nights with a great range of fun goodies and fancy dress! If you have a theme night in mind, we can discuss a way to add fun extra's to the room & guests tables so they can really join in.

Q. Do we have to pay a deposit to secure our booking?

A. Yes, at time of confirming your date with us you will be asked to pay a non-refundable £50.00 deposit to secure your booking and the remainder is due just four weeks before your party (if your party is less that four weeks away from time of Booking, full payment is required immediatly). Failure to do so without contact will result in cancellation of your booking.

Q. What if the weather stops our event going ahead or the venue cancells our booking, do we get our money back?

A. Please read our 'Terms & Conditions' for full details.

Q. We would like to organise a fete for our school/church. Can you provide some outdoor decor?

A. Yes no problem, we have a great portfolio of designs, colourful & eyecatching. Just call to arrange a consultation to discuss your idea's & budget & don't worry if the rain moves your plans indoor because we will just follow. We also supply for balloon races & releases! (book well in advance)

Q. Our family have a party coming up soon & we would like a small amount of balloons to keep the cost down, do you have a minimum order?

A. How exciting! Just call with the details & we will go out of our way to make sure your party has a beautiful range of decor to suit your theme. Minimum order value for a party/wedding is usually £50 locally, childrens party balloons delivered locally usually cost around £45. Q. As we are local, can we collect our balloons if under £50 minimum order?

A. Yes, of course, just book your balloon order & arrange collection in one call! You can collect one balloon or hundreds. We will advise you according to the transport you have of suitability for your order.

 

 

 

Float Times and Precautions

FLOAT TIMES FOR MYLAR (FOIL)  BALLOONS
In optimum environments, mylar (foil) balloons will remain full and taught for 3-5 days. They will continue to float for two weeks or longer. Air-conditioned air may cause these balloons to shrivel, but they will return to a normal state when exposed to warmer air.

FLOAT TIMES FOR LATEX BALLOONS WITHOUT HI-FLOAT® TREATMENT
16-inch latex balloons will float indoors for 30-40 hours.
11-inch latex balloons will float indoors for 12-20 hours.
Float times may be reduced significantly if balloons are used outdoors or at elevations higher than sea level.

HI-FLOAT™ TREATMENT (EXTRA CHARGE)
Latex balloons, used indoors and out of direct sunlight, will usually float for at least 3 days if treated with Hi-Float®, a non-toxic sealant which coats the inner wall of the balloon. Float time may be reduced significantly in unusually warm, unusually cool, or very humid environments, and at elevations significantly above sea level.


EFFECTS OF ELEVATION, SUNLIGHT, AIR CONDITIONING, AND WIND
Float times will be reduced at higher elevations.
On hot days, in direct sunlight, balloons may pop within an hour. The same result can occur indoors if balloons are exposed to direct sunlight through windows.

Very cool environments may cause helium molecules to shrink, reducing the size and float time of balloons.

Indoors or outdoors, the constant flow of air around a balloon will increase the speed at which helium molecules escape through the wall of the balloon, resulting in reduced float time.

2. Ceiling Precautions

Static and invisible fibers on ceilings can cause balloons to pop. Allow your balloons to remain tied to an anchor for at least five hours before releasing them to the ceiling. This allows the balloons to shrink enough so that the skin becomes thicker and tougher. After five hours, take 2-3 balloons and rake them across the ceiling. If these do not pop, it should be safe to release additional balloons. If they do pop, allow additional time and run the test again.

3. Health Precautions

A. Do not breathe helium from a balloon. Helium is not toxic nor flammable, but breathing it can result in asphyxiation (loss of consciousness due to insufficient oxygen).

B. Do not release mylar (foil) balloons outdoors. Power failures can result if these balloons become entangled in electric lines. These balloons conduct electricity.

C. Popped latex balloons present a choking hazard for small children. Do not leave small children unaccompanied with latex balloons.

QUESTIONS FOR BOUQUET IN A BOX

Q. What should I expect in the box ?

A. We use a plain box and decorate the inside with complimenting soft tissue paper & sprinkled with gift Confetti before the balloon/s are gently lowered in for packaging. The Balloons will be anchored with a quality fancy balloon weight & your message card will be attatched. If you are kind enough to want to add a gift to your floating bouquet then just order when you are selecting your balloon & we will include the gifts in the Box.

Q. Once I have ordered & paid for my bouquet, can I change the delivery Address?

A. As long as we have not processed your bouquet this shouldn't be a problem. Please contact us immediatly & we will advise if there is time to take new details.

Q. I have ordered and paid for my bouquet I have decided to upgrade the bouquet so it's extra special, can I do this ?

A. Certainly, as long as there is enough time & we have not processed your order, just ring us & we can take extra payment.

Q. I would like a delivery on Saurday or Sunday is this possible?

A. We have several Delivery options available for your to choose from which hopefully will ensure your Fantastic Balloon Bouquet-In-A-Box arrives on the exact day your require. Please ensure you choose carefully. Royal Mail do deliver on Saturday's (restricted area's apply-see delivery for post codes).Should your Special day fall on a Sunday, We usually advise you to Choose for Guaranteed Saturday Delivery & we will clearly label the Box ' Do not open until... (the date required). 

Q. How are the Balloons delivered ?

A. We use Royal Mail for all our deliveries unless strike action takes place, then we will use alternative courier service for that duration. however, this may alter the options of timed deliveries but your bouquet will arrive on the day sepcified.

Q. When the box arrives from Blissful Balloons is it obvious what is inside ?

A. No. we use plain boxes, so that there are no clues until they open the lid & up floats their surprise bouquet...hope you are their to see their face!!!

Q. Can I sent my balloons anonymously ?

A. Yes, we only put the message car in with the Balloons no other details are given. Even if the recipient telephones us your details are private & confidential.

Q. I am local to Great Barr, Birmingham, is there any chance I could collect my balloon/s from you ?

A. Yes. Please ensure you telephone to arrange collection & payment will be taken over the phone. Don't forget that you will save upto 20% off your bouquets when you collect & you won't have to pay to park! Also our collection service is very flexible so if you need a bouquet on sunday, we will be glad to oblige. Collected Single foil Balloons are from just £2.95 each!

Q. I Have ordered my bouquet-in-a-box & would now like to order partyware & invites will these go in the same box?

A. No, Balloon Bouquets always goes to 'delivery address' & partyware only goes to 'billing address'.

Q. I would really love to send a blissful bouquet to someone but I can't see a balloon for to suit, does this mean you can't help me?

A. Absolutly not...don't worry..please contact us immediatly! Of course we can help. It is impossible to list every balloon that's on the market but there is generally a balloon for almost everything you can think of..from American flags to zebra's! We can supply looney toones, Barbie, Barney, Bratz, Cars, Disney, Fimbles, Forever Friends, My Little Pony, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Postman Pat, Scooby-Doo, Sesame Street, Superman, Teletubbies, Hollywood, Disco, Mutli National flags & even Balloons is spanish! So give us plenty of time & we will always do our best. We are in the business of surprising & making occasions as special as possible & we do it with pride.
