IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ BEFORE CONFIRMING BOOKING/ORDER
Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by any of the following terms and conditions.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT and are in Pounds Sterling. Every effort is made to display prices correctly but on rare occasions if a mistake has occurred, Blissful Balloons will correct this mistake and inform the customer accordingly and the customer can then decide to proceed or cancel the order there after. Please print your email order confirmation as your receipt of purchase. Please note, a quotation does not confirm your booking. Once a deposit has been received then your booking is confirmed. Last minute bookings may restrict the services we can offer you.
Blissful Balloon Decoration Service bookings must be secured with a £25.00 non-refundable deposit at time of booking to secure the event date. For Cancellation of booking or venue/date change see below. The deposit amount will be deducted from your final balance which will be due no later than four weeks prior to your event date. Failure to do so could result in the loss of your deposit & cancellation of your booking without notice. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay on time. Bookings made less than four weeks before the event require full settelement immediatly. Confirmation of your booking will be emailed to confirm full payment & order details, please keep this as your proof of payment & booking. All materials left on site will be owned by the client unless hiring chair covers and sashes or your decor requires other 'Hire equipment' from Blissful Balloons. A returnable 'security' deposit depending on the value of the apparatus used will be calculated and added to the value of your booking. *A seperate security deposit of £50 is required for chair cover hire, see below for full details. Upon safe return of such apparatus no later than three days after your party/event, your security deposit will be returned in the same manner it was given (chair covers are collected by our staff on all occasions). Where Hire equipment is returned later than agreed, a daily hire charge of £5 will be deducted from your security deposit. Should any Blissful Balloons property deemed to be 'on hire' suffer damage of any degree it is the responsibility of the named client at time of booking. This may result in partial or full loss of 'security' deposit. Blissful Balloons are no longer liable for decor once they have left your venue. Please be aware heat, cold and static could reduce float times or even burst your balloons. Where venue staff have moved/re-arranged decor and damage occurs, we are not liable.
CHAIR COVER & SASH HIRE
Where a client requirs hire of Lycra Chair covers with Organza sash, they will be required to pay a seperate deposit of £50 to secure the number required. Where the number increases less than 8 weeks before your event, we cannot guarantee availability. Where the number of covers required reduces less than 8 weeks but no less than 4 weeks before your event we will only charge for the amount hired. Should you wish to cancel your chair cover hire less than 8 weeks before your event, you will only loose your deposit. A security deposit is also required per booking for damage or loss. Where covers or sashes are missing a full replacement charge of £10 per chair cover & £5 per sash will be deducted from your security deposit. Where damage is unrepairable and can not be removed we will deduct full replacement cost as before. Minor food and drink marks and minor shoe scuffs around the bottom of the cover is acceptable. Your security deposit is only refundable once all covers have been collected, counted and checked.
Special Offers including 'Half price balloon arch offer for all private bookings over £150.00' on fully paid bookings during 2010 are non transferable & can not be exchanged for monetary value towards any of our services. All special offers are at the discretion of the management. Should a client wish to upgrade the balloon arch the difference in price can be added to the total order with pleasure. Where your venue does not allow helium decor, we will gladly offer an alternative. Special offer booking value excludes delivery and is not available on Corporate bookings.
CORPORATE CLIENTS BOOKINGS require settlement for FULL amount before the event or where time is short, on the day at the latest. Payment prior to event is preferred to avoid delay on site. Only where a good client relationship has been established can accounts be settled on a 30 days credit agreement after the event date, late payment will result in charge of interest and will risk cancellation of future bookings/business. Blissful Balloons reserve the right to charge interest on any late payment after this time at the rate of 3% on all outstanding payments due to Blissful Balloons, (whether under this contract or otherwise), at a compound rate of 3% per annum above Bank Of England base lending rate and shall accrue at such rate after as well as before any judgment.
VENUE ACCESS RESTRICTIONS If for any reason, access to the venue is restricted or denied at the stated time of delivery there is a risk your decoration will not be completed. Once your booking is confirmed your invoice will clearly state 'minimum time required on site', please ensure your venue staff are fully aware of this and do not put your event at risk of delay. In the unlikely event this happens, no refund will be available. For health & safety reasons it is important that the venue allows undisturbed working space and power supply for full working time on site. Please inform venue staff of our requirements. On the rare occasion where venue staff prevent our access due to 'last minute' changes, we are not responsible for incomplete decor. Please be aware we never rush decor, however, a timeframe is allocated to every booking therefore we can not stay at venue's unnecessarily due to venue staff inefficiency. Bookings requiring completion prior to 8.30am and after 5pm will incur a higher rate of delivery as with all City Centre bookings.
Bad Weather/Cancellation/Changes to booking.
If bad weather prevents completion or the event, 25% of the FULL payment will be refunded.
Change of event date is subject to availability only. You will loose your deposit for the cancelled date and be required to pay an additional £25 to secure your new date. Where your venue is changed, we will charge £25 for a new consultation if required. Depending on location an additional delivery charge may be incurred. Where you new proposed date is fully booked, please read cancellation terms below.
Should you wish to cancel/postpone your booking prior to full settlement.
Should you wish to cancel or postpone your booking prior to full payment being made, you will only loose your deposits securing that date. To re-book on a different date, you will be required to pay £25 deposit to reserve your date as before, chair cover deposit will be transfered. Bookings cancelled after full payment has been made: 2-4 weeks prior to event date you will loose 75% of total booking value. Bookings cancelled 2 weeks or less before event date, you will loose the full amount paid. A design change fee may be charged if decor changes are made after full payment has been settled.
All orders submitted from this web site including email purchase orders and telephone confirmed orders are deemed to constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions and also to take payment for balloons and any additional items selected. A contract between the customer and Blissful Balloons will only be completed upon authorised payment receipt.
We reserve the right to substitute your balloon and or/gift with a similar choice if your first choice is out of stock. Where there is sufficient time before dispatch, the customer will be contacted and an alternative offered. Please note images may not always reflect true colours. Where a 'traditional' bear is offered, we will choose the bear to suit your occasion to the height & price band you choose.
Helium foil 18” balloons normally float for about 7 days. However in cold temperatures the helium may cause the balloon to appear deflated but after re-entering into a warmer climate the helium expands and the balloon will be inflated once again.
Once your order/booking has been handed over to the recipient/delivered, Blissful Balloons are no longer responsible and refunds will not be given if the balloon/s are not passed to the correct recipient. All balloons are perishable goods and Blissful Balloons will not accept returns and unwanted balloons. In the unlikely event of a product defect the customer must inform Blissful Balloons straight away within 48 hours from receipt of that balloon/s. The balloon/s must be returned within seven days of receipt. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in the claim being rejected. When additional items have been sent the refund amount will only apply to the defective product. Where obvious damage has been caused by a third party, Blissful Occasions will not offer a refund.
In the event of a claim, settlement will be limited to the value of the goods, if defective or damaged and will in no way extend to consequential loss, howsoever caused.
Mail order deliveries will be delivered at the address specified, all mail order purchases will be delivered to the card holder Only. Delivery dates will be met providing you have chosen the correct delivery method & a signature will be required on Guaranteed Delivery Options as proof of receipt. It is your responsibility to ensure the recipient is at this address during the delivery time requested. In the event of the recipient's address been vacant Royal Mail will leave instructions to arrange another delivery. Re-delivery timeframes are out of our control. Payment must be received at least 3 hours before delivery expected time for delivery time to met. Late payments will result in next day delivery.
Website Mail order may be cancelled up to 3 working days prior to the requested delivery date and a full refund will be issued within 30 days of cancellation. Where orders are for custom printed goods i.e. Banners, balloons, we can not cancel orders once printing has been processed. Notice is required at least 14 working days prior to quoted delivery date. However once the goods have been dispatched and by virtue of the Distance Selling Regulations Blissful Balloons will be exempt from giving cancellation rights. Refunds will only be issued for faulty goods or goods not delivered due to Blissful Balloons. No refunds will be given for late deliveries. It is the customers responsibility to choose the correct delivery method. Any dates quoted for delivery of orders are approximate only and Blissful Balloons shall not be liable for any delay in delivery however caused. Time for delivery must be specified at time of order and must be a minimum of two working days prior to delivery date required unless previously agreed by Blissful Balloons.
CAUTION NOTE Please remember it is not safe for children to be left unattended with Balloons. Foil (mylar) balloons must never be released outdoors. Blissful Balloons will not be held responsible for injury of any degree, it is the sole responsibility of the 'client/purchaser' to ensure all decorations/packaging/apparatus are safe in the presents of others. Blissful Balloons will not be held responsible for any injury, physical or otherwise caused due to misuse of Balloons or partyware. Where displays/materials are on public rights of way the client/customer is solely responsible to aquire necessary permissions from local authorities to do so. All materials left on site unless otherwise stated to be 'on hire' are the sole property of the client/customer.
LOCAL BALLOON DELIVERIES We offer to supply gifts and helium filled balloon/s with the customer's idea's in mind. Balloon bouquet's will be secured to a weight and delivered together with special message card to the specified recipient. A member of our team will personally hand deliver your bouquet or gift to the address given at time of order on the day requested. Should this address be vacant, we will leave a card to request collection from our premises. Should the person be unavailable at the point of delivery, we will require a signature from the temporary recipient as proof of delivery. Full payment must be received at least 3 hours prior to delivery expected time, late payment may result in next day delivery.
